Singapore Book Council (SBC) (2020)
Task: Create banners and visuals for websites and workshops
These mockups that I worked on were used as official banners on SBC's websites. I also have created multiple virtual backgrounds that are usable for staffs when attending a workshop.
Software Applications Used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Challenges: To create a unique enough design yet keep to the overall look and feel of the other banners to ensure consistency.

Challenges: I used Adobe softwares for the first time, I was not used to switching between different softwares for different functions.
#2211withchenle Café Event (2018)
Task: Designer / Marketing

I was contacted to design a cup-sleeve holder for a café event at +82 PlusEightTwo Café. I played a part in logistics and designing. I felt accomplished as there were many positive responses on Twitter through the hashtag #2211withchenle.

Challenges:

Attention to detail: It was tough for me as a designer as I often had to change the design when there is a detail the organiser is not satisfied with. However, the end result was great and we put up a spectacular event together as a team.
Assignment: Introduction to the Creative Arts (2018)
Task: Create an information guide of one of Singapore's arts and heritage.
Theme: "Looking at Nature through the eyes of arts and heritage"
Challenges: This was my first time ever designing an information guide so everything, from brainstorming of ideas to designing, was a challenge. I sought help from seniors and they managed to give me advice and I came up with the end result as shown above.
